So over to the right you will see a new tab that says "Club information & News". If you click on this you will find all information and news for the club. If you have questions e-mail me!!!! My email is in there just send me your question and ill get back to you. Also, I heard some people say the calendar is confusing or what not. All you have to do is: Click view by month, and then choose the month you want to look at. Trust me everything is on there and if you are checking the website there should be no excuse for you to miss meetings because you didnt know. Please use the website, its here for you!! Ladies of Seminole is a club focused on helping young ladies to understand class, grace, style, and self respect. The club shows us that there are ways to be beautiful without showing off your body. Mrs. Manderville, our coordinater, founder, and sponsor, has devoted her time and effort to creating this club and helping us understand these things. The club was created in the same sense as a sorority, as members we become sisters. At the start of the year a "Pledge Week" is held, in which the girls trying to get in wear different things each day so that we can select new members. In the club we grow and learn together and we discuss our problems through girl talk. The club is also a service club. At the beginning of the year a candy sale is held to raise money for all of the activities we participate in durning the year. We participate in school activites such as; Red Ribbon Week, open house, and eigth grade orientation. As well as school activities we have some of our own. We go to Lisa Maile's modeling studio to learn about make-up, runway, and etiquette. We also have a Christmas and end of the year party. This past year we held a fashion show at the end of the year in honor of Mother's Day. Our mother's were honored and the graduating seniors received their medals. This will be the third year for the club and we all look foward to enjoying another year together and welcoming all the new girls. Since the club started it has grown and we look foward to watching it grow more and more. Write Comment (2 comments) |
